Letter from Reuben in Grand Junction, Colorado

Posted by Scott Grizzly - January 6th, 2012

Dear Scott,

Thank you for your visit. I liked it when you showed us your Hawken Rifle. When will you come again? Do you like popcorn? I love popcorn. Have you tried caramel popcorn? I love caramel popcorn. How about beef jerky? How about mule jerky? My grandpa eats mule jerky. He says it makes him tough.

Sincerely,

Reuben

p.s. Your tall tales and Hawken rifle really expired me.

Dear Reuben,

You’re not the first person to be expired by a Hawken rifle. It happened all the time in the old days when mountain men fought battles with their enemies. In fact, your teacher Mrs. Graves asked me to come back to your school next year and expire some more 4th graders.

Your friend,

Griz

    Dear Mr Griz,
These letters were very expiring to me, too! Can’t wait to see you in a couple of weeks!
